I’ve seen the same OB/GYN for almost ten years. So when my husband and I found out we were pregnant, I assumed I would give birth in the hospital being seen by the woman I had trusted with my body for a decade. I am so glad that I had a friend question that decision. “Have you considered a home birth?” We asked around and had numerous people recommend Kim to us. After our consultation with Kim, we knew we wanted to have a home birth with Kim as our care provider. Our visits with her were always an hour long which gave plenty of time for questions and conversation. By the time labor began, Kim knew exactly what kind of birth I wanted and how to respect all of my choices. I still saw my OB throughout pregnancy, but I cannot imagine how different things could have been if I hadn’t been free to labor and birth how I wanted, in the comfort of my own home. Kim strives to have a good relationship with the OBs in Conway which is what our birthing community needs. I would definitely recommend home birth to my friends, and Kim is who I would refer you to see. Women are stronger than they know! We were made for this!
